Position Summary

A Senior Accountant specializing in financial reporting plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant frameworks). They assist with financial analysis and internal reporting, while maintaining compliance with corporate policies, audit and SOX.

Key Responsibilities

Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing Analyze financial data in excel and trends to explain variances Analyze results along business units and product lines Prepare written narratives for financial results Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards Assist with audits (internal and external) by preparing necessary documentation Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency Maintain internal controls Work with finance teams, auditors, and management to support financial decision-making Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with financial reporting Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS Proficiency in ERP systems (Navision and Microsoft Business Central) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work under tight deadlines
