Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role (Surrey location) for a CPA with a minimum of 2 years of public practice experience. The role will involve tasks such as preparing financial statements, tax planning, and utilizing finance and accounting skills to provide guidance to clients on personal and corporate taxes.
Responsibilities
Conduct compilation, review, audit and tax engagements
Prepare and review financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and prepare corporate tax returns
Correspondence with clients and tax authorities
Prepare personal tax returns and information returns as required
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
Perform complex reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial records
Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards, implementing necessary updates
Qualifications
Canadian CPA designation (or applicants in the final year of the CPA program)
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of experience within a CPA firm
Finance and Accounting expertise
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy

Pay: $53,193.28-$89,890.15 per year
