Responsibilities
As a
Senior Accountant
, you will play a key role in both client service and team development. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing review and compilation engagements in an efficient and accurate manner.
Preparing a variety of tax returns, tax return adjustments, and responding to Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requests for information.
Reviewing the work of junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
Assisting in the training and mentoring of colleagues to support team learning and professional growth.
Collaborating effectively with colleagues and contributing to a positive and professional workplace culture.
Communicating clearly and professionally with clients to maintain strong and trusted relationships.
Experience and Education
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
A
CPA designation
.
3-5 years of public practice accounting experience
, with demonstrated knowledge in assurance and taxation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in a supervisory or mentoring role is considered an asset.
A willingness to learn in a constantly changing industry.
Compensation
Salary range:
$70,000 - $80,000
, commensurate with experience.
