Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Oversee weekly and biweekly payroll processes, both Union and non-union.
• Execute month-end and year-end account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger upkeep.
• Generate various monthly reports as required.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Contribute to year-end working paper files.
• Guarantee precision and adherence to accounting standards.
• Aid in upholding accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
• Other necessary duties as required.

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of experience in an intermediate to senior-level role.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Accounting designation is not required, but proven work experience is.
• Prior working knowledge of construction accounting, project, and or cost accounting.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with inventory systems.
• Experience with Sage 300 or other ERP systems.
