About the Client
Our client is sourcing a Senior Accountant for a 3-month contract.
About the Opportunity

Lead all aspects of the accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial statements
Monitor and maintain detailed records for capital assets, investments, loans, and accrued interest
Manage sales tax (HST) filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Prepare and deliver quarterly financial statements and perform account reconciliations
Conduct contract reviews related to financing, purchasing, and asset transactions (e.g., promissory notes, loan agreements)
Handle journal entry creation for both initial and ongoing accounting events

About You

Between 3-5 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting
Solid understanding of corporate tax processes and HST compliance
Familiarity with partnership tax filings
CPA designation is advantageous, but not required
