Senior Account Executive Gaming

Our client is an ambitious and established software company that creatives around the globe depend on to write and visualize complex story structures. Their success in the gaming industry has accelerated with the launch and market adoption of their latest platform, a leading narrative design solution for video game and interactive media creators and they are looking to add a high-performing Account Executive to their dynamic sales team.

As the Senior Account Executive - Gaming, you will be creating customer relationships with AA/AAA gaming studios and helping streamline their production tool chain. You will work directly with the Chief Operating Officer to identify sales opportunities and manage sales cycles through to their conclusion in this high priority and fast growing market segment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business sales from the AA/AAA gaming markets relying on both outbound prospecting and inbound lead flow.
  • Prospect, identify and qualify new business opportunities to build your own pipeline.
  • Represent the company and prospect for leads at gaming events.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota, and be accountable for results.
  • Provide market feedback to the product team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling software solutions into the video game market with a proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce to accurately and proactively create, manage and forecast sales opportunities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams (for both technical and non-technical audiences)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with distributed teams and technical functions/stakeholders

This position is open to candidates who are located in North America with preference to those located in the Eastern or Atlantic Time zones.
