Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently in a Team, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and commercial driving, with an emphasis on maintaining the integrity of freight during transit.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Transport freight to designated locations while adhering to delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and vehicle maintenance. Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to optimize routes and schedules. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred. Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus for maintaining vehicle functionality. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols. Ability to operate forklifts safely is desirable. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.
