We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the integrity of cargo. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment as needed. Candidates with experience in commercial driving, forklift operation, and automotive repair are highly valued. Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
Perform routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
Conduct basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle readiness
Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation
Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and issues
Assist with securing cargo to prevent damage during transit
Experience
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Prior experience in freight transportation or trucking preferred
Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus
Knowledge of automotive repair basics is advantageous
Experience with freight handling and securement techniques preferred
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various conditions
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 70 per week
