Overview


Beaver is seeking a skilled Semi Truck Operator to join our team in a fast-paced underground construction environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently navigating the residential streets of Winnipeg, unloading materials in designated areas, ensuring the safe operation and inspection of the equipment being used, knowledge and experience with of end dump trailers , and performing daily inspection reports. This role requires some mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate safely while working in tight areas like residential streets and commercial lots.

Responsibilities



Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Adhering to safety protocols. Drive to and from pits to the job site. Use 2-way Radio to communicate effectively with operators onsite. Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow on the jobsite. Maintain a clean and organized cab, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Experience



Proven experience operating semi trucks and end dump trailers. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance is essential. Experience with load leveling and unloading processes and trailer lifting techniques. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks. Minimum 2 years of city driving experience. Minimum 3 years of semi driving experience. Experience driving manual transmissions is required. Must have class 1 drivers license with MPI issued abstract. References should be provided at the time of application submittal.

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
