Event Coordinator - Skylab Theater & Business Center (Mississauga, ON)

Location: 1599 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, ON

Position: Full-Time - Immediate Start

Salary: $36,000 per year + Commission

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable events and building community engagement? Skylab Theater & Business Center is looking for a talented Event Coordinator to lead event programming, manage day-to-day operations, and grow our presence across social media platforms.

Your Role

Plan, organize, and coordinate events at the Skylab Theater (concerts, performances, workshops, community events, murder mysteries etc.). Develop and manage advertising campaigns on social media platforms to promote upcoming events and attract audiences. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Skylab Business Center. Work closely with vendors, clients, and community partners to ensure smooth event execution. Help drive bookings and revenue growth through creative marketing and outreach.

Qualifications

Proven experience in event coordination or event management (theater, music, corporate, or community events experience an asset). Strong understanding of social media marketing and promotion. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently and bring creative ideas to life.
