The Phone Experts Group is a privately owned company with Business offices in Red Deer, Calgary, Banff and Medicine Hat. We are an all-in-one solutions provider. Through our Group of companies, we are able to offer a unique combination of Telecom and Security products and services all over Alberta. We are currently hiring a Permanent Full-Time Telecom/Security Technician in Red Deer. This role is primarily working within our Security area responsible for installing and servicing commercial alarm systems, access control systems and more. The candidate will perform preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, as well as end-user assistance regarding the proper utilization of these systems. Job Responsibilities:

• Installation, testing, troubleshooting of structured cable components.
• Diagnose, install, maintain, servicing and repairing telecom and security equipment including alarm systems, access control and cameras.
• Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software.
• Handle a physically demanding workload (up to 60 lbs.) which includes heavy lifting, climbing ladders, work at heights, crawling in confined spaces and working in all weather conditions.
• Self-motivated, demonstrate effective decision-making skills and can work with limited supervision.
• Follow safe work practices and abide by all safety rules and regulations.

• Fluent in English, with demonstrated professional oral and written communications skills
• Ability to plan, organize and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Exhibit enthusiasm to continuous learning, high performance and have a demonstrated ability to learn and apply learned skills to related situations.
• Must have a valid driver\'s license.
• Be able to pass a background check.
• Travel and out of town work is required. Company Vehicle and accommodation provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $45,750.00-$62,500.00 per year Benefits:

Supplemental pay types:
