Chandler Alarm and Communications Division is growing and currently searching for an Experienced Security Technician for our Saint John and Moncton locations.

Responsibilities

• Implementation, installation, troubleshooting and integration of premise security solutions CCTV, access control, intercoms, and intrusion systems for commercial clients.
• Troubleshoot and repair security systems,
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Uphold company and industry standards for quality
• Maintain accurate service records, including detailed notes and inventory
• Maintain communication with dispatch and customers staying on schedule
• Educate customers on the use of their equipment and provide technical service support (either remotely or on-site)
• Knowledge of IP networking considered an asset

HERE\xe2\x80\x99S WHAT SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Must have a minimum of Minimum 2 years experience with in-depth knowledge of IP Cameras, access Control and Intrusion systems in the security industry,
• Self-motivated, demonstrate effective decision-making skills
• Experience with low voltage, electrical, or cabling of any type
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment as required.
• Familiar with the use of everyday hand tools (drills, screwdrivers)
• Comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts, in attics and crawl spaces, as well as to lift 50+ lbs.
• Computer hardware and software knowledge would be an asset
• Work with high degree of accuracy and thoroughness
• You have a reputation for being reliable and approach your daily work in an efficient, professional manner
• Some travel is expected.
• Must have a clean criminal record, and a valid Driver\'s license.
