Chandler Alarm and Communications Division is growing and currently searching for an Experienced Fire Alarm Technician for our Saint John and Moncton locations.

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Inspection, service and troubleshooting of existing Fire Alarm systems.

\xc2\xb7 Preparation, assembly, programming set-up and verification of new fire alarm systems

\xc2\xb7 Experience in programming fire panels would be an asset.

\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S524, S536 and S537

\xc2\xb7 CFAA certified would be an asset but not necessary.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Special Hazards Suppression System would be an asset.

\xc2\xb7 Capable of preparing detailed reports and inspection documentation

\xc2\xb7 Experience in programming fire panels would be an asset.

\xc2\xb7 Use of specialized test tools.

\xc2\xb7 Comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts, in attics and crawl spaces, as well as to lift 50+ lbs.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent troubleshooting skills.

\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated with a strong focus on excellent customer service.

\xc2\xb7 Must have a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with a clean driver abstract.

\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

WHAT SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

\xc2\xb7 Grade 12 Certificate

\xc2\xb7 Experience in Fire Alarm installations would be an asset.

\xc2\xb7 Graduation from a recognized Electronics Program is considered an asset.

\xc2\xb7 Relevant industry experience is considered an asset.

\xc2\xb7 Working at heights and with ladders

\xc2\xb7 Ability to travel to other areas of the region when required (not frequent)

\xc2\xb7 Satisfactory Criminal Background check

\xc2\xb7 Must have a clean criminal record, and a valid Driver\'s license.
