Our Security Team Leads does more than ensure the safety and security of our guests, staff and buildings. Often as the first point of contact, they are also Brand Ambassadors and help greet guests, see them on their way and be the person on point when an issue may arise. Think you have what it takes? \xe2\x97\x8f Check IDs of patrons to ensure they are of legal drinking age
\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure patrons who are visually intoxicated are not permitted to enter (or stay on) the premises
\xe2\x97\x8f Help maintain the safety of patrons and staff
\xe2\x97\x8f De-escalate conflicts and maintain a peaceful environment
\xe2\x97\x8f Monitor the premises for any suspicious activity
\xe2\x97\x8f Conduct bag check as required
\xe2\x97\x8f Report any customer incidents or disturbances to management
\xe2\x97\x8f Report writing
\xe2\x97\x8f Interacting with law enforcement and other Services in a professional manner.
\xe2\x97\x8f Able to manage a small security team
\xe2\x97\x8f Able to work on the weekdays, weekends and holidays, late night Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
\xe2\x97\x8f Valid Ontario Security license
\xe2\x97\x8f Valid CPR, First Aid & Smart Serve Certificate
\xe2\x97\x8f Strong Communication skills
\xe2\x97\x8f Conflict resolution
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
\xe2\x97\x8f Able to keep a calm and level demeanor in a variety of situations
\xe2\x97\x8f To work independently or as part of a team
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in security is preferred (bar, clubs, concert venues)
\xe2\x97\x8f Understanding of the liquor license Act & AGCO Terms & Expectations
