About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated
Security Systems & Networking Technician
to join our growing team.You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining
CCTV systems, access control, intercoms, and network cabling
for residential and commercial projects.Key Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coaxial, fiber) Mount and configure
CCTV cameras (IP & analog)
Install and programdoor access control systems
(card/fob readers, maglocks, strikes) Set up and configurenetwork equipment
(routers, switches, PoE injectors) Integrate systems with NVR/DVRs and cloud-based monitoring Troubleshoot camera feeds, connections, and power issues Perform maintenance and upgrades on existing systems Communicate clearly with clients and complete documentation of workRequirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in
CCTV, access control, or networking installation
Strong understanding oflow-voltage wiring and network topologies
Ability to use cable testers, crimpers, and hand/power tools safely Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Good communication and time management skills Ability to work independently or as part of a teamPreferred Skills (Not Required):
Experience with
brands like Hikvision, Dahua, Ubiquiti, Axis, Avigilon, Uniview, etc.
Knowledge ofalarm or intercom systems
Basic IT/networking certification (CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, etc.) Lift certification or working at heights trainingSchedule:
Monday-Friday, occasional weekends or evenings if required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
