Security Systems Technician

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Security Systems Technician with 1-2 years of hands-on experience installing and servicing alarm systems, CCTV, and access control. The ideal candidate is familiar with platforms like DSC, Paradox, and other low-voltage security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, program, and maintain intrusion alarm systems (DSC, Paradox). Set up and configure CCTV systems, including IP and analog cameras. Install and troubleshoot access control systems and door hardware. Run structured cabling (Cat5/6, coaxial, low-voltage) and terminate connections. Test, inspect, and maintain systems to ensure full functionality. Provide basic client training and system walkthroughs. Maintain accurate records of service and installation work.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in security system installation or service. Working knowledge of DSC, Paradox, CCTV, and access control systems. Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow installation protocols. Comfortable using power tools, hand tools, and test equipment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check.
Assets (Not Required):
Experience with intercom systems, structured cabling, or home automation.
