Position Title: Security Supervisor

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Security Supervisor. This position manages security guards and service contractors in all aspects related to the security of the facility including buildings, equipment and grounds on both campuses. Ensures the efficient and cost-effective operation of CCNM's support services.


Some of the responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informs violators of policy and procedures Documents, communicates and files security breaches, incidents and other safety concerns Provides access control and other security services by administrating the allocation of keys, passcards, fobs and ID Serves on the Emergency Response Team where they will provide emergency communications and be one of the first point of contact Conducts security, health and safety, maintenance inspections on a regular or as needed basis Secures premises and personnel by conducting structured and random patrols internal and external as required by shift Monitors the alarm, access control and CCTV systems daily to report and action on any irregular activity Monitors and enforces the CCNM Parking and alcohol & smoking policies with regularly patrolling the parking lots Enforces the Trespass to Property Act as well as all rules, regulations and policies set forth my CCNM

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 5 years of security experience preferably in an educational environment Ability to utilize relevant computer software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Keyscan product Software Ability to work with alarm systems, computers, fire procedures & systems and access control devices and CCTV Trained in Use of Force and Tactical Communication First Aid and CPR Certified Observant, detail-minded and skilled in recalling and effectively relaying information re: building layout, personnel contact information and organizational services and statistics Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively-both orally and in writing- with individuals at all levels within the organization Excellent customer service skills Good organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to work and multi task with minimal supervision in fast paced environment Tact and judgment to deal with the college community

This position will be required to be on-site and provide on-call support to address urgent issues outside of operating hours.
