Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee our security operations and ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of security protocols, surveillance systems, and conflict management strategies. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage security personnel to maintain a safe environment for all staff and visitors. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols in alignment with company standards. Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify potential threats or incidents. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with safety regulations and security measures. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary. Provide training and guidance to security staff on first aid, CPR, conflict management, and loss prevention techniques. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and daily activities for management review. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall safety measures across the organization.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security field or related areas such as law enforcement or military service. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; additional training in conflict management is a plus. Excellent observational skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and accurately. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and law enforcement agencies. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations. Must possess a valid security license as required by state regulations.
