Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee our security operations and ensure a safe environment for our staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement, surveillance, and loss prevention. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of security protocols.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the security team to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure the safety of all individuals on-site. Oversee the operation of surveillance systems, including CCTV, to monitor activities and respond to incidents as they arise. Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property. Train, mentor, and evaluate security personnel, providing guidance on best practices in security measures. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and security breaches for management review.

Skills

Proven experience in law enforcement or a related field is essential. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment, particularly CCTV systems. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and best practices in security management. Excellent observational skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and accurately. Strong leadership capabilities with effective communication skills to manage a diverse team. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations. Pay: $23.00-$32.37 per hour
