Security Supervisor

Guardteck Security is hiring a

Full - Time Night Security Supervisor in Edmonton!

As the Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all security operations within the facility. You will lead a team of security personnel, ensuring the safety and security of all occupants, property, and assets.



This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to security management.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of security officers. Provide guidance, training, and support to security staff to ensure they perform their duties effectively. Coordinate and direct security staff in responding to incidents, including disturbances, breaches, or medical emergencies. Prepare and maintain incident reports, ensuring accurate documentation of all security-related activities. Client and Stakeholder Relations: Foster positive relationships with tenants, visitors, and other stakeholders within the facility. Address security concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with property management and other relevant departments to ensure alignment of security objectives with overall business goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team. Previous security supervisor experience Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Sound judgment and decision-making skills, particularly in high-pressure situations. Proficiency in security systems and technology, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to security operations. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or related field preferred. Valid Alberta Security License Valid First Aid Certification MOAB/PPCT certification Must be willing to work full time nights, including weekends and stat holidays. * Must be comfortable working a 4 day on and 4 day off schedule
