Cabling Ottawa is looking to add a Senior Foreman to its team. We are hoping to find the right person to take on responsibilities that include: Running/Managing Projects, Working/training new employees, filling out work orders, ordering material for large projects, and interacting with customers. Security Skills required Include but not limited to: Installing & Programming Access Control Systems (end to end solution) , Installing, and Programming IP Camera\'s, Installing and Programming Intrusion systems. Cabling Skills required Include but not limited to: Installing Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A & all types of Fiber, Dressing/Terminating/Jacking Cables, Test cables with Fluke Tester, Working with Floor Plans. Other skills not required but beneficial: Tech savvy, Office Package, spreadsheets, installation Printers & computer programs, set-up and updating company smart phones with Company APPS Requirements: 7 years minimum experience working in the Security & Structured Cabling Industry and must have experience with managing of the following: Security: Access Control, Intrusion, CCTV - Cat 5e/ Cat 6/ Cat 6A, Fiber installation projects. Must have or able to obtain Reliability & Secret Clearance (Having Clearance is an ASSET), Clean Driving Record, Hard Working, Work well with others, Some travel to out-of-town job sites. References are required. Please indicate if you have any of the following certifications: WHIMIS, Working with heights, Confined Space, ASP, Panduit, Belden, Ortronics.
