Position Overview

We are seeking a

professional and experienced Security Site Supervisor

to join our team at a busy

commercial building

in Chatham, ON. In this role, you will not only perform regular security guard duties but also oversee daily site operations, lead a team of security staff, and ensure that all safety and service standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of security guards on-site Assign and monitor daily duties to ensure adequate coverage and service quality Conduct patrols of interior and exterior areas to maintain a safe environment for tenants, staff, and visitors Monitor entrances, exits, and common spaces through surveillance and guard presence Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies while following established protocols Provide excellent customer service and act as the first point of escalation for tenant or visitor concerns Deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity through proactive security measures Prepare, review, and submit daily reports and incident documentation in a timely and accurate manner Liaise with property management, law enforcement, and emergency services when required Train, mentor, and evaluate new security personnel Ensure compliance with company policies, site procedures, and health & safety standards

Qualifications

Valid

Ontario Security Guard License (required)

Valid

First Aid & CPR certification (preferred)

Previous experience as a

supervisor

,

lead hand

, or

senior security guard

strongly preferred Strong knowledge of the

Ontario Trespass to Property Act

and

Citizens' Powers of Arrest (Section 494, Canadian Criminal Code)

Excellent

English

communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods Professional, reliable, and committed to safety Previous experience in a

commercial

retail, or high-traffic environmen
