Commissionaires is the leading supplier of security services for the federal government. From access control and front desk security, to 24/7 control room operations, we provide high-level security services to our federal clients.

We are currently looking for guards to work graveyard shifts at a high profile RCMP building in Surrey.

Please note: This position requires the applicant to receive a RCMP level 3 clearance, which can take anywhere up to and beyond 3 months to be processed. Please ensure you meet the minimum requirements before applying.

\xc2\xb7 Physically fit and assertive, including the ability to conduct extensive foot patrols

\xc2\xb7 Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills

Some of your responsibilities include:

\xc2\xb7 Performing interior & Exterior patrols

\xc2\xb7 CCTV monitoring

\xc2\xb7 Access control

\xc2\xb7 Writing clear and concise daily logs and reports of all incidents

\xc2\xb7 Enforcing and maintaining site security procedures

\xc2\xb7 Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts

\xc2\xb7 Provide first aid in a prompt, accessible, and appropriate manner

\xc2\xb7 Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor

\xc2\xb7 Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of site duties and safety standards

Your Must \xe2\x80\x93 Haves \xe2\x80\xa6

\xc2\xb7 Valid BC Security Licence

\xc2\xb7 Have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for clearance purposes

\xc2\xb7 Valid OFA 1 or willing to obtain
