Security Officer - Penticton
Due to security clearance requirements, you must be a resident of Canada for 5 or more years.
Looking to take the next step in your Security career? Commissionaires BC is looking for an experienced Security Professional to join our team as a casual, part time and full time. If you have plenty of security experience, excellent communication skills, and are looking to grow your career, we encourage you to apply!
Your Must-Haves:
- BC Security License
- Occupational First Aid Level 1 (or willing to take the course)
- You have resided in Canada for 5+ years and have the ability to obtain a government clearance
- BC Driver\'s License with clear driver\'s abstract
- Moderate computer skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- You can work under pressure
- Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions;
-Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public
-Positive and professional attitude, with strong customer service skills
-Proficient using computers
-Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-Excellent multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organizational abilities
-Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
Some of your responsibilities include:
-Interior and exterior patrols
-Access Control and visitor verification
-First responder in building emergencies such as evacuations and medical emergencies
-Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols.
