Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Manager to oversee our security operations and ensure the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement, surveillance, loss prevention, and CCTV management. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential security risks and implementing effective strategies to mitigate them.

Responsibilities

Co-ordinate administrative services Manage the operations of a department providing a single administrative service Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within establish Hire and train or arrange for training of staff Interview, hire and provide training for staff Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services Manage events Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect company assets. Oversee the surveillance systems, including CCTV, ensuring they are operational and effective in monitoring premises. Conduct regular assessments of security risks and vulnerabilities within the organization. Lead investigations into security incidents, thefts, or breaches of protocol. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to address security concerns. Train and supervise security personnel, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Prepare reports on security activities, incidents, and trends for management review. Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.

Experience

Proven experience in a security management role or similar position within law enforcement or corporate security. Strong knowledge of surveillance technologies, including CCTV systems. Experience in loss prevention strategies and techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with personnel at all levels. Strong analytical skills to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to respond to incidents or emergencies. Pay: $48.00-$49.50 per hour
