Summary of Position: As a Smart Security Installation Technician, you will learn about the latest in smart home and business security technology and how we build tailored solutions for our customers. You will interact with customers daily, installing security and smart home components, and coaching them on how their system will enhance their quality of life Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary education. Some college &/or technical trade training in electronics or security systems.
- Experience with cellular, wireless, and/or smart home equipment and systems
- Comfortable with mobile platform technology, MS Office, online learning
- IP or networking experience is considered an asset
- Open to new ideas and eager to learn about new technology
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Well-organized and professional manner
- Able to convey new concepts to customers who are not familiar with \xe2\x80\x9csmart technology\xe2\x80\x9d
- A clean criminal background check (required)
- Ability to obtain Reliability Clearance (sponsored by the employer)
- Valid G license and clean driving abstract (required)
- Comfortable in construction, commercial, and residential environments
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- 3 years experience in the Security or related industry
