Interested in joining our dynamic, growing organization? As a Smart Security Installation Technician, you will learn about the latest in smart home and business security technology and how we build tailored solutions for our customers. You will interact with customers daily, installing security and smart home components, and coaching them on how their system will enhance their quality of life. A Typical Day:
- As an ambassador of Alarm Systems, provide exceptional on-site and remote customer service
- Install and service smart home and business security systems
- Remote troubleshooting through our online partner platform
- Participate in training opportunities and professional development online and on-the-job
- Complete all necessary paperwork and work orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety standards and company policies
- Maintain a safe and clean work site environment
- Demonstrate punctuality and a dependable work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant experience.
- Experience with cellular, wireless, and/or smart home equipment and systems
- Comfortable with mobile platform technology, MS Office, online learning
- IP or networking experience is considered an asset
- Open to new ideas and eager to learn about new technology
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Well organized and professional manner
- Able to convey new concepts to customers who are not familiar with \xe2\x80\x9csmart technology\xe2\x80\x9d
- Clean criminal background check
- Ability to obtain Reliability Clearance (sponsored by the employer)
- Valid G license and clean driving abstract
- Comfortable in construction, commercial, and residential environments
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
