We are looking for two Security Guards to join our team!

Reporting to the Security Manager, the Security Guard is a front line representative of the company to all employees, visitors, contractors and customers. The Security Guard is responsible for Asset Protection within the facility, verifying all safety and emergency equipment is effectively working, and writes reports based on observations, factual evidence and occurrences. The Security Guard is accountable for the assets of the facilities via monitoring of Closed Circuit Television and access control programs for visitors, employees and out-going shipments.

Job Duties and Requirements:

• Assist in the day to day operation of the Global Security Services department.
• Control access to the facility, operate CCTV equipment, patrol grounds at regular intervals
• Respond to alarm situations such as fire, door breaches and CCTV alarms.
• Assist in responding to medical emergencies
• Initiate the Emergency response and notifications outside of regular work hours/days
• Maintain ledgers for the tracking of visitors, keys, deliveries, and any other events.
• Conduct the necessary investigations as they relate to the security of the facility and the occupants.
• Maintain liaison with all emergency agencies including Police, Fire and Ambulance.
• Provide escort and security assistance to visitors/contractors as applicable.
• Enforce regulations and any internal policies and procedures to maintain order and resolve conflicts
• Conduct fire patrols and initiate the facility's Fire Safety Plan when required
• Flexible to work a continental shift

Technical Requirements we are looking for:

• Must have a valid Security Guard license.
• Education in Law Enforcement/Security is preferred.
• 2-3 years of security related work experience is preferred
• Required to hold a valid driver's license.
• Valid First Aid/CPR/AED certificate is required
• Proficient in English (both oral and written)

• Good interpersonal, leadership and communications skills.
• Proven to be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Good observational and monitoring ability
• Proficient with MS Office.
