Job Description

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for a security guard to work overnights at a site in Lavington, BC.

Position hours: Sunday & Monday Overnights: 11.00pm til 7.00am
Wage: $19.50 per hour

Your Must-Haves:

• A valid BC Security License
• Class 5 BC Driver\'s License, personal vehicle and a clean driver\'s abstract
• A valid OFA 1
• Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Ability to complete continuous foot patrols, walk up and down multiple sets of stiars during your shift

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Provide superior customer service to our client and site users
• Perform regular exterior and interior patrols, including mechanical rooms
• Equipment alarm response and monitoring
• Provide access control as per site regulations, including issuing of access cards
• Investigate security incidents, escalating as necessary
• Maintains a safe environment for all personnel and the public
• Report all incidences to the Site Supervisor and provide investigation report.

Your Nice to Haves:

• You have resided in Canada for the last five years (for clearance purposes)
• Hold OFA 2
