Position: Concierge / Security Guard City: Ottawa On Site: Condominium Building Downtown Ottawa Status: 3 Month Contract / Monday to Friday / 10am to 6pm Pay Rate: $18.00 Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Condominium Building Security Guard to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the building and its residents. The role requires a high degree of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:
Contract length: 3 months Salary: From $18.00 per hour Benefits:
- Conduct regular patrols of the building and its grounds to ensure that all areas are secure and free from hazards.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity or potential security breaches.
- Respond promptly to any security incidents, including emergencies, and take appropriate action to prevent further harm or damage.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and contractors, and assist them with any security-related inquiries or issues.
- Enforce building security policies and procedures, including access control, parking regulations, and other security measures.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and activities and submit timely reports as required.
- Assist with other duties as required.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Security background check
- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C Certificate
- Moderate physical activity: standing and/or walking for entirety of shift
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Contract length: 3 months Salary: From $18.00 per hour Benefits:
