We are seeking a Back Up Security Guard - Badge Access. This role is a backup position.We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply. Candidates that do not have experience creating access badges will not be contacted.https://www.securitas.ca/careers/security-guardThe posting will remain open until filled.Position Overview:Wages: $18.00-$18.50/hrShift timings: 0800-1600 or 1600-2400 (Must be available to do either shift)RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform access control provision duties, including creating badges for client employees across Canada.
• Update information for visitors in the system and program access badges.
• Change levels of access for individuals across the country for badges.
• Remove access for individuals departing the site and ensure their badge is collected.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• 1 year security experience creating access badges. Experience with Lenel or CCure is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Ability to travel to the site via transit. No parking available.
