Job Description
Do you have security experience and a valid BC Security Workers License? Are you looking to work with a dedicated and diverse team? The Strathcona Hotel is looking to hire 2 people to provide daytime security.

REQUIREMENTS

+ Valid BC Security Workers License + Serving it Right
+ Basic First Aid (OFA 1)
+ Flexible availability including afternoons, evenings (Must be available weekends)
+ 2 years of related experience
+ The ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
+ Conduct patrols of various areas
+ Knowledge of security protocol and procedures
+ Professional approach to the role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner
+ Possess sound judgement and decision-making skills, with a 'hands on' approach to problem solving; strong conflict resolution skills required
+ A calm demeanor
+ Possess strong knowledge of security procedures
+ Strong observation and communication skills
+ Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
