Job Description

Commissioniares BC is looking for experienced security guards to join our team in Vernon, BC! Take this opportunity to get some extra hours in this summer while working in beautiful Vernon BC at the Kalavista Boat Launch.

Shift Schedule: July 01 - August 31, 2023

• Monday to Friday: 11:00AM - 7:00PM
• Sat & Sun: 11:00AM - 7:00PM
• Long weekend coverage: Friday - Monday 10:00 - 20:00

Your Must-Haves:

• You hold a valid BC security license
• You have proven customer service skills
• OFA Level 1 for Sat & Sun position
• You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• You have time-management and organizational skills

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting patrols and monitoring the site
• Offer first class customer service
• Mainain detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
• Maintain a safe environment for all, handling any crisis situations in a calm and controlled manner
• Effectively communicate problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
