As a tactical security professional in the retail industry, you will make a positive impact on the shopping experience of the establishment\'s customers. This will be through exuding a high level of customer service whilst growing your experience in the security space.

What does a Security Guard in GTA do?

Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property
Monitor access of entryways and exit points
Conduct preventive surveillance rounds
Point of contact with authorities and emergency services
Interacting with customers and staff, and performing shop theft deterrence duties
Be able to demonstrate crisis management at a high level
Monitoring and utilizing CCTV equipment as needed
Assisting staff in the event of an emergency situation

Qualifications to become a Security Guard

Valid Ontario Security Guard license

Current CPR-C standard certificate as issued by a WSIB-recognized provider

1-year tactical guard experience plus 1 year loss prevention experience

Legally eligible to work in Canada

Note: Final transcripts and World Education Services (WES) assessment are also acceptable
Proof of Status in Canada (Birth Certificate, Canadian Passport, Citizenship, or PR)
