This Position is in an industrial complex monitoring the main entrance and duties as outlined by the client.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills-able to effectively communicate with management staff, client employees and fellow security guard staff
Customer service-you will be the positive face representing GSS and the client on a daily basis
Computer proficient-able to use various programs and monitor multiple cameras and sites
Report writing-able to write and monitor daily reports in an office environment
Class G drivers license and clean driving record
Valid security guard license
Mainly a day position but afternoon/weekends as required to assess staff and train as needed
Position duties:
Act as supervisor to all guard staff over various shifts
Communicate with security staff to ensure client protocols and duties are understood and followed accordingly
Communicate with client to ensure open communication and seek assistance when required
Understand staff to highlight personnel assets and identify when additional training is required
Act as liaison with security head office in regards to issues and staff scheduling
Be available for phone consult in event of issue or emergency
