About the Role

Allied Universal is hiring

Security Guards

to join our team at a

high-traffic retail mall in Calgary,Alberta,

a key location in the city's retail and tourism landscape. Our security team plays an essential role in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for guests, staff, and retailers.


As a Security Guard, you will serve as a visible security presence, respond to incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while protecting people, property, and assets.

Key Responsibilities

Patrol the mall and surrounding property to ensure safety and security Monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems Respond to emergencies, alarms, and public safety incidents Interact with guests and retailers, assisting with general inquiries Write accurate and professional incident and shift reports Enforce site-specific rules, policies, and procedures Liaise with emergency services when needed Assist with lost & found, first aid, and crowd control as required Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid Alberta Security Worker License

Eligible to work in Canada

Current First Aid/CPR Certification

(or willingness to obtain) Strong verbal and written communication skills Physically fit - able to conduct foot patrols and stand for extended periods Professional, reliable, and customer-service focused Previous experience in security, retail, or hospitality is an asset
