As a member of the Security team, you will be responsible for access control into the building, interior and exterior patrols in all weather conditions, contractor escorts with clients or contractors, monitoring security cameras and alarm systems and x-ray scanner operations.

Duties:

Access control (checking identification and verifying access records) to ensure no unauthorized access Operation of x-ray machine (scanning bags for contraband items and reporting to authorities as required) Physical searches if and as required General access control and customer service (high-profile) Interior patrols Monitoring alarms and CCTV, taking appropriate and swift action Situational awareness and customer service skills when dealing with the public As Shift Supervisor: Responsibility as the team lead for smooth operations and accurate execution of client expectations
As Shift Supervisor: Management of supervisor logs. This position serves as Shift Supervisor on

Fridays and Saturdays

Qualifications:

Valid Security Guard license PSPC Level 2 security clearance (10 or more years living in Canada) Commissionaires Supervisor Course Level 1 or 2. (CSC1 training can be arranged for the right candidate) Excellent customer service skills required Physical fitness / ability to walk long distances including stairs required Strong report-writing skills Ability to maintain operational competency in a dynamic and changing environment Computer skills a must Previous high-profile security experience an asset Previous supervisory or managerial experience an asset
Strong attention to detail and perceptiveness

Wednesday to Sunday 2200 - 0600 Hrs.
