What does a Security Guard do?
- Ensure the protection of people, property and premises
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols
- Liaise with visitors, customers and the general public on a regular basis
- Control the entrances and exits with the equipment at your disposal
- Carry out preventive surveillance rounds. Prevent fire, theft and vandalism
- Removal of unauthorized individuals- hands off policy
Qualifications to become a Security Guard
- Saskatchewan Security Training Certificate- we can also help our employees get this.
- Flexible availability. Able to work days, evenings or nights
- Physically fit to walk 10-15 km per day and able to work 12-hr shifts when required
- Have a clear criminal background and first aid card
- Be eligible to work in Canada and be 18 years or older
- Reliable vehicle incase of events taking place outside of the city
