Position Overview:

Working assigned shifts, you will be responsible for patrolling the campus and monitoring surveillance cameras and completing written reports.

You will be expected to perform regular patrols and interact with students, staff, and members of the public to provide direction and promote good customer service while providing a security presence.

Please note, students currently enrolled with Fanshawe College are not eligible to apply to this position

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Report writing
• Arrest procedures
• Customer service
• Public Relations
• Physical rounds of clients property
• Securing premises
• Enforcing clients policies
• CCTV monitoring

Requirements

• Must have a valid Ontario Security Guard licence
• MUST have full driver's licence
• Security experience an asset
• Degree/Diploma in Police Foundations, Criminology or Policing/Corrections/Military is required
• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
• Proof of double COVID-19 Vaccination
• Valid First Aid/CPR Level C Certification

Certification Requirements (All)

Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
