What does a Security Guard in Etobicoke do?

Greet, inform, direct and escort various users and visitors

Provide assistance and evacuate the building(s) in case of emergency

Apprehend offenders and turn them over to the appropriate authorities

Detect, question and remove undesirable persons

Control access and exit of equipment

Participate in the transport or escort of valuables

Work outside in a high traffic sight directing tractor trailers arriving and leaving

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Etobicoke

A valid security guard license and first aid card

Available to work Monday to Friday 0700-1500

Comfortable working in cold and hot weather depending on time of year: this position requires significant time working outside in all weather conditions

Have a clear criminal background

Be eligible to work in Canada
