Part time rotating shift hours

What does a CBSA Security Guard in Etobicoke do?

Ensure the protection of people who arrive at the airport and are experiencing immigration issues

Utilization of tactical training to de-escalate potentially dangerous situations.

Conduct regular foot patrols - indoor and outdoor

Monitor and properly utilize security software and equipment

Escort people within the facility, using restraints to ensure the safety of everybody

Demonstrate empathy and compassion and a recognition that you are working with individuals under stress

Observe, monitor and report on behaviour of detainees

Qualifications to become a CBSA Post Guard in Etobicoke

Valid Ontario security guard license + current Standard CPR-C certificate

Canadian citizenship or 5-years permanent residence status

Canadian high school or post-secondary education

Ability to pass a Public Works Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check

1 year experience working in a vulnerable sector

1 year tactical security guard experience
