Security Guard - Automotive- Part-time

Job Title: Security Guard Job Location: Windsor, ON Job Type: Part-time Pay Rate: $17. 25 Available SHIFTS: 2 Shifts per week - full availability is an asset Opening Notice: -ERT (Emergency Response Training) is a site requirement - Must be able to handle heights, confined spaces, fire safety, etc. -Clean Shaven Policy is in effect - For Personal Protective Equipment purposes. Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ensure that the facility\'s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
• Vehicle Gate and Console duties
• On-the-Job training is required: ERT-emergency ERT initial training program
  • Training includes: heights training, confined space training, hot work training, etc
• Clean Shaven policy in effect - You must be able to wear Personal Protection Equipment

The Ideal Candidate

• • • Valid Provincial Security Guard Licence
    • Valid First Aid & CPR and AED
    • Must have a valid driver\'s licence (G2 or Full Ontario G licence)
    • Must be able to provide a clear Driver\'s Abstract
    • Rotational shifts- flexible availability is an asset
    • Previous Security guard Experience is an asset
    • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Positions may require the use of a computer for report writing and communications
    • Applicants with security experience or Valid Drivers, Licence and reliable form of transportation may be considered for more advanced positions
