In this role, you will ensure the security of member and organizational information housed within Conexus technology and in cyberspace. Your strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate and interpret trends and important information, will enable you to provide thorough recommendations on how to improve Conexus\xe2\x80\x99 framework.How you\xe2\x80\x99ll be spending your time

  • Establishing and maintaining a means of measuring performance and testing compliance for Conexus\xe2\x80\x99 business attributes.
  • Threat analysis - analyzing threat vulnerability and impacts through general understanding of threats and risk, information and cybersecurity (InfoSec) situational awareness and take mitigating action.
  • Vulnerability management \xe2\x80\x93 coordinating the assessment of computer and network systems and business security risks. This includes detecting vulnerabilities, determining and implementing mitigation solutions, and monitoring systems to evaluate performance to standards.
  • Incident management (tier 3 support for security incidents) -; monitoring unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity and notifying supervisor for local corrective action with employees, escalating as necessary.
  • Providing information and cybersecurity to meet members\xe2\x80\x99 and organizational needs.
  • Ensuring the security of membership information within organizational technology and cyberspace, by ensuring adequate technologies and methodologies are in place. This includes educating and training employees and members when required.
  • Ensuring and supporting employee understanding of and adherence to InfoSec (e.g., facilitate dissemination of info, act as reference source for employees, support and / or deliver related training).
  • Taking part in the regular on-call rotation with the rest of the team where you will be investigating any high severity incident alerts and be available to anyone else at Conexus with a cyber security issue.

  • 3+ years\' experience in information security, specifically intrusion detection, incident response vulnerability management or social engineering.
  • Some experience in other IT roles, such as network/server/desktop administration
  • Experience in using a SIEM tool and performing searches and investigations.
