As Security Analyst, you are responsible to monitor, analyze, and defend the security of the IT environment. Responsibilities include ensuring security audit logs are being properly generated, transmitted, stored, and analyzed to identify potential security incidents, policy violations, malicious activity, and operational issues. The Security Analyst will work with operational staff to ensure ongoing compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.

Analyzing the security posture and requirements for projects and systems is an important focus of the position.

Why we'll love You:

  • 5+ years' experience in an information security role
  • Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 or comparable cloud experience
  • Experience with large-scale mergers & acquisitions activities in assessing security risks and exposure
  • Understanding and experience with industry and regulatory standards such as PCI, SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR, NIST
  • Professional Security/Privacy Certification (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CIPP/C, Security+, CEH, OSCP, etc.)
  • Ability to proactively seek new ideas and solutions to improve the status quo
  • Strong work ethic - reliable and accountable, attention to details
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
Once here, you'll:

Creation and maintenance of training materials with respect to security policies and procedures

Lead training sessions to improve awareness of security programs and policies

Conduct security assessments for applications and track mitigation activities

Conduct reviews of cloud configuration and security controls

Lead mitigation of security gaps leveraging relevant IT functions

Coordination of Vulnerability Management for IT systems and services

Development of mitigations and remediation's for identified vulnerabilities

Provide a periodic report of vulnerability management program

Assist in development of security standards, policies, and toolsets

Coordinate Incident Response processes with relevant technical teams and provide status updates to leadership

Perform digital forensics investigations to aid in the analysis of threats and malicious activities

Assist in development of Incident Response plan and conduct regular testing

Monitor and tune alerts generated by security tooling for endpoints and networks

Engage relevant technical teams to address incidents identified by security partners

Document Incident Response activities and contribute to lessons-learned

Identify security gaps and risks within project and operational processes

Maintain knowledge of financial security landscape, emerging vulnerabilities, and industry trends
