Job Summary: We as Telus Security Alrm Service provider are seeking 6 skilled and experienced Alarm Technicians in Saskatoon and Regina ( 2 on each location ) to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in computer software, Alarm systems, and low voltage installations. As an Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm systems for residential properties. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail. Duties: - Install alarm systems according to blueprints and specifications - Test and troubleshoot alarm systems to ensure proper functionality - Repair or replace faulty components or wiring - Program and configure alarm systems for optimal performance - Provide technical support to customers regarding alarm system operation - Collaborate with team members to complete installations within designated timelines - Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and service calls - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in alarm system technology Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Previous experience as an Alarm Technician or in a similar role preferred - Strong knowledge of computer hardware and low voltage systems - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for installation purposes - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to detect and resolve issues efficiently - Strong communication skills with the ability to telecommunicate effectively with customers - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction Clean driving record and own van /vahicle required.
