About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Health Services Manager and Lead, the incumbent plays a key role in assisting in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating clerical activities with Practice Support, Central Zone. The incumbent provides day to day administrative support to the Manager and Lead, ensuring optimal time management. Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Practice Support Team, Central Zone by ensuring appropriate distribution of workload to efficiency and effectively meet needs; scheduling and rearranging resources during periods of staff absence; maintaining accurate timesheets and payroll information; orientation of support staff and ensuring collaborative teamwork. The incumbent is responsible for processing and requisitions for supplies and services for Primary Health Care, maintaining records of same and ensuring cost effective utilization of resources. The incumbent is also responsible for working with the Manager and Lead to ensure appropriate collections of relevant statistical and other data related to clinical activities to address issues of evidence-based decision support.
