Secondary School Counsellor

Job Description
This is a full-time position from September 2025. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, the inclusive education coordinator, academic advisor, and students to promote a safe, inclusive, and empowering learning environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to student well-being, academic success, and contribute to school-wide initiatives that nurture resilience, belonging, and spiritual growth.
The successful applicant should:
hold a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology or a related field; hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate (preferred); be knowledgeable in trauma-informed practices and inclusive education strategies; have experience supporting students with mental health needs; be flexible, innovative, and responsive in meeting student needs; demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a team; support the Catholic character of the school.For more information, please visit
