Bonduelle is currently looking for a highly motivated, energetic team member to join our Waste Water Department as a Full-time Seasonal Wastewater Operator. The successful candidate provides technical skills in order to problem solve and provide support to various departments. Your qualifications and assets will be put to use in order to ensure all machinery is running efficiently to meet target goals.Main Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment on a regular basis
• Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges
• Collect and test water samples after various treatment phases
• Record meter and gauge readings, and operational data
• Operate equipment to clarify water, and to process and dispose of solid waste
• Clean and maintain equipment, tanks, filters, and other work areas
• Complete and maintain plant logs and reports
• Monitor and read instruments to detect equipment malfunctions and ensure plant systems and equipment are operating within prescribed limits
• Ensure safety standards are met in accordance with company policies and the OHSA
• Add chemicals and adjust feed rates
• Other duties as they are assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School education required
• Degree in math or science considered an asset
• Wastewater treatment operation knowledge is an asset
• Must be able to work alone and in a team environment
• Physical dexterity is a must
• Must be able to endure long periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
• Attention to detail
• Steel toed safety shoes are required
• Must be comfortable doing repetitive tasks and lifting heavy loads
• You are able to follow a continental schedule

• Tecumseh, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
