We are seeking a Seasonal Labourer to join our team at Xpert Rail Consulting Inc. This position plays a vital role in supporting various railway operations, contributing to the overall success of our projects and ensuring the smooth functioning of our services.

Role Description

This is a full-time seasonal position located in Yorkton, SK for a Track Labourer at Xpert Rail Consulting. The position will continue until March 31, 2026. The Track Labourer will be responsible for tasks such as winter snow removal, repairing and maintaining railway tracks, conducting inspections, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Typical day-to-day duties include lifting heavy materials, removal of snow from railway tracks and surrounding areas, and performing manual labor. Attention to detail and adherence to company safety standards are a priority.

Qualifications

Experience in manual labor and handling heavy materials Knowledge of operating track maintenance equipment and tools is a plus Understanding of safety protocols and adherence to safety standards Good physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Hours

General work hours are Monday to Friday (Occasional weekend may be required) Overtime may be required Local to Yorkton facility

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

Class 5 license with a clean abstract High school diploma or equivalent is required Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment Previous experience, particular in the industry, preferred

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
