Job Overview



Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Office Administrator is a key role in the day-to-day operations by providing administrative support to the branch. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, able to work in a within a team environment and has the ability to provide excellent customer service both over the phone and in person.

It is a 3-4-months position starting immediately.

Responsibilities



Customer Service both over the phone and in person (responding to order inquiries, general inquiries and create sales orders and running front-counter sales). Working closely with the sales department to ensure sales orders are processed in a timely manner. Administrative duties (reporting, filing, collecting certifications, asset inventory, etc.). Electronic inventory tracking (reporting, cycle counts, production reports, year-end, etc.). Customer accounts including customer payments, answering account inquiries, and credit policy adherence. Data entry, including budget sensitive entries, weekly entry and period-end reconciliations. Providing purchase orders and reconciliation of payable invoices. Provide support and correspond with Operations, Finance, HR, and Management team.

Qualifications



Experience in providing exceptional customer service. Capable of working extended hours during peak seasons in the spring and fall. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Team oriented with the ability to work with multiple departments. Proficient with Microsoft Office software. Comfortable learning new software programs. Exposure or knowledge of agronomy would be considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed
